WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: 
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Front Desk Sales Associate with an outgoing personality for our salon. THIS IS A SALES POSITION. Your focus will be on converting potential customers into clients, selling memberships (which saves our guests so much money!), and providing an excellent customer experience for all guests. You will report directly to the General Manager.  If you have a P.A.S.S.I.O.N for sales and providing outstanding Customer Service, we would love to hear from you!


RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Increase membership and retail sales by pitching membership and other services and promotions offered                 
  • Warmly greet clients and inform the assigned stylist of their arrival 
  • Provide an excellent customer experience!  
  • Contribute to group operations, such as inventory maintenance  
  • Maintain a clean and inviting environment  
  • Book and confirm appointments via phone and text 
  • Process transactions with attention to detail (cashless salon)  
  • Inform clients of all salon policies and enforce (verbal and written) 
  • Navigate (LMS) – outbound call to leads 
  • Meet required weekly and monthly sales goals 
  • Collect and upload waivers, consult forms, and other documents to clients profiles 
  • Offer beverages and chat with clients who are in the waiting area 
  • Welcome walk-ins, answer questions about services and schedule appointments based on availability  
  • Inform clients about new package services, retail products, discounts, membership monthly perks,  
  • Cross-sell services and products when appropriate (e.g. through informative brochures and gift cards)  
  • Update client records with contact and billing details, appointments and services offered  
  • Manage all email, phone, and text communications 

REQUIRED SKILLS:
  • 3-5+ years customer service or membership sales experience  
  • Strong attention to detail  
  • Growth mindset; "can-do attitude  
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment  
  • Ability to work weekends and evenings as needed  
  • Reliable transportation  
  • Experience with MindBody Software is a plus!  
  • Strong marketing and sales abilities 
  • Excellent customer service and skills
  • Proven work experience as a Salon Receptionist, Front Desk Representative or similar role 
  • Hands-on experience with office equipment, like printers and POS systems 
  • Familiarity with processing transactions 
  • Excellent communication abilities (verbal, phone and email) with a customer service attitude 
  • Solid organization and record-keeping skills 
  • An ability to remain calm under stressful circumstances 
  • Exceptional time management and organizational abilities. 
  • Coachable and willing to learn  
  • Attend all mandatory staff meetings 
  • Knowledge of the beauty industry is a plus!
